2024-2025 Senior Design Team

TCNJ e-HPVC

RESEARCH

The e-HPVC team will begin by researching the intricacies of a human powered vehicle and the science behind its components.

DESIGN

Research will then be used to convert knowledge of the vehicle into an in-depth and robust design.

ANALYSIS

Rigorous analysis and mathematical calculations will be done to ensure that the bike lives up to the team’s standards.

MANUFACTURING

The team’s design will be brought to life after months of design and testing, shaping the bike to match its original design.

TESTING

The team will test the bike for structural and mechanical stability, familiarizing members with the handling of the vehicle.

COMPETITION

TCNJ’s e-HPVC team will travel to compete in the 2025 ASME e-HPVC competition!

What is e-HPVC?

The e Human Powered Vehicle Competition is an engineering design project that aims to design and manufacture an innovative human-powered vehicle. Our team is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of engineering and innovation. Each aspect of the vehicle requires a unique set of skills and expertise, contributing to the success of our project. The goal of TCNJ's e-HPVC team is to take first place at the global HPVC competition sponsored by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
